Just like the previous year, we once more got the full support from the Summerjam. But in 2011 we started something new, which was collecting donations/contributions at the Festival guestlists. Everybody on the guestlist is requested to contribute 5,- EUR to HELP Jamaica! in order to receive their free tickets. After we did this at the Summerjam 2011 for the first time other festivals and tour promoters followed the idea and over the years the guestlist-collection became something like a trademark for HELP Jamaica! But it all started at Summerjam 2011.
At the end of the 3-day event 2500,-EUR were collected by the promoter Contour Music at the guestlist and directly donated to HELP Jamaica! to support our education project in Kingston, Jamaica financially.
